ISSNOVA

The Institute for Sustainable Society and Innovation, briefly ISSNOVA, was established in 2016 in Naples, Italy. The association was born as a free aggregation of people, it is non-profit and carries out, by statute, social utility activities for the benefit of its members and third parties with the main mission of: 

  • developing research, scenario analyses, case studies and demonstrations on all topics related to sustainable innovation with a people-centered design approach
  • addressing with an interdisciplinary approach issue related to the safety of water, energy, food, air, land and maritime transport, land use and in every critical context for the safety of people and/or the environment, focusing on both technology and related social processes
  • facilitating and promoting evidence-based design practices, planning and policy development for sustainable growth

ISSNOVA will take charge of various tasks, particularly leading WP9 Communication, Dissemination, Exploitation, and Stakeholder engagement to drive effective communication, dissemination, and research exploitation within the OVERHEAT project. Their expertise in user-centered design will enhance the usability of digital communication outputs, ensuring broad dissemination of key messages and achievements.
