The OVERHEAT project is currently preparing the first official meeting of its Stakeholder Support Board (SSB), marking an important step in strengthening the dialogue between the consortium and the broader maritime community.
A Save the Date announcement has been officially launched, inviting stakeholders to take part in the first consultation meeting. The meeting will be held online on March 30th, 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30 CEST.
The SSB plays a key role in supporting the project by providing practical insights and perspectives from actors who deal daily with maritime safety and port operations.
The SSB provides its perspective to the project, supporting the consortium and helping ensure that the demonstration activities are aligned with real operational challenges faced by maritime stakeholders. The Board is chaired by Valencia Firefighters and brings together representatives from several maritime stakeholders such as:
- Port Authorities
- Ship Owners
- Public Authorities
- Maritime SME
- Maritime Research institutions
- Universities
- Insurance Companies
The activities of the SSB focus on supporting and strengthening the project’s implementation.
Further details will be shared soon.
